Frequently Asked Questions

What makes a teddy vintage? (draft)

Open questions for review

How do you define the condition grades (mint, good, others)? Can we say where our vintage teddies come from (collections, earlier homes)?
Is /collections/vintage the right link?

We call a teddy vintage when it is at least 20 years old. Vintage teddies are no longer made, and each one comes with a history of its own.

Our vintage product pages describe each teddy's condition, such as mint condition or good condition, and the tags or labels still attached, such as the Steiff button in the ear or a chest tag.

Where we know a teddy's history, its provenance, we tell it too. You can browse them all in our vintage collection.
