An art piece

Some teddies are not for holding. They are for the shelf, the cabinet or the chair in the corner, and they are chosen the way a print or a small sculpture is chosen: for the face, the fabric and the way they sit in a room.

Everything here is a Charlie Bears or Steiff piece of the kind where the materials and the finishing are the point, and often a limited edition. An art piece needs presence, so these are the larger and more detailed pieces in the shop.

These are also the pieces collectors look for later: limited Steiff editions, and Charlie Bears designs that have retired from the current collection and will not be made again.
