This is Mufasa and Simba, a little lion from the 2024 Steiff for Collectors collection, lovingly handcrafted by skilled teddy artisans in Germany.

They come as a pair in beige mohair, and the larger lion wears a long, shaggy brown mane with beige highlights that looks rather proud. Mufasa and Simba both have white muzzles, and small dark stitching marks the bigger paw tips.

They are 18 cm tall and weigh a light 210 g. They feel hard in the hand, just right for displaying on a shelf. A collector's piece rather than a toy, not suitable for children under 14.
