This is Elena, a little bear from the 2023 Steiff for Collectors collection, lovingly handcrafted by skilled teddy artisans in Germany.

She has long, curly white mohair fur with a quiet shine, and her brown muzzle and green woven paw pads seem made for spring. Elena also carries a small white daisy with a yellow centre embroidered on one sole.

She is 19 cm tall and weighs only 150 g. She feels firm in the hand, just right for holding and hugging. A collector's piece rather than a toy, not suitable for children under 14.
